Just been diagnosed with skin cancer

Getting a cancer diagnosis is a scary and difficult time for those diagnosed and those closest to them.

The important thing to realise is that you don't have to deal with it on your own, and you don't have to bottle it up.

Listening Ear is our highly trained volunteer led support service. Anyone with cancer, a family member, friend or carer can access the service for emotional or practical support.

Sometimes people are unsure or confused about what help they can get and the LES can help with this.

The service also acts as a sign-posting service - directing people where necessary to other support services, such as Counselling and Complementary Therapy at Action Cancer House, or in the regional offices or to other organisations.

Complementary therapy and counselling is also available at Action Cancer House in Belfast, in our regional offices in Newry, Derry and shortly Magherafelt and on our Big Bus which operates on a rotational basis across Northern Ireland.

These supportive services are designed to enhance your quality of life during a difficult time.

For more information or to book an appointment please call 028 9080 3344.
