The role of Action Cancer's Fundraising Groups
Action Cancer has 28 fundraising groups across Northern Ireland. Regardless
of the level of activity or amount of money raised, each group is valued
for the contribution it makes to the continued development of Action Cancer.
In addition to raising crucial funds, the groups:
- provide an opportunity to develop friendships
- put skills, talents and eagerness to practical use
- raise awareness of the work of the charity within the local community
- offer emotional and practical support to each other and those touched
by cancer
- assist with the location of Action Cancer's mobile screening unit
