Healthy School Awards Open for Entries
:
Action Cancer and Centra are calling on all 1,600 of Northern Ireland’s schools to enter their tenth annual Health Action Awards. Nurseries, playgroups, schools and colleges can take part in the awards, which highlight the work of the province’s most health-conscious schools. The awards form part of Action Cancer’s Health Action programme for young people, which has been supported by Centra since 2003. To date more than 420,000 young people have taken part in Health Action sessions and Centra has donated £700,000 to the programme.
