Research & Evaluation
Action Cancer carries out both research and evaluation.
Action Cancer is keen to help with research whenever possible. We contribute to research steering groups and can become directly involved in projects, for example helping with data collection or recruitment into studies. Currently we are in collaboration with Queen’s University, Belfast assisting with two separate projects.
Evaluation of services
As an organisation funded through charitable donations, we must ensure that the services we provide meet the needs of the community and are provided at the highest possible standards. Therefore, all services at Action Cancer are evaluated to ensure services not only meet the needs of the community but are also effective.
Placement / Project opportunities
Throughout the year Action Cancer provides students with the opportunity to gain work experience through placement opportunities. There are also opportunities to develop student projects for undergraduate and postgraduate studies.
We need your help!
At times Action Cancer needs the help of those in the community to provide feedback or become involved in the social research and evaluation work being carried out. We currently don’t have any ongoing projects we need help with, but keep checking here throughout the year.
