Cancer Awareness Talks

These hourly sessions raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of gender specific cancers and are suitable for community groups and workplaces. Delivered as separate male or female specific presentations highlighting ways to reduce the risk of developing cancer. Female topics include breast, cervical, ovarian, bowel and skin cancer. Male topics include prostate, testicular, bowel and skin cancers. Lifestyle factors including smoking, diet, physical activity and alcohol are also covered in all talks.

Health Information Stands

Our stands provide cancer awareness, lifestyle information and healthy lifestyle advice to community groups, schools and or workplaces over a half or full day time scale. Alongside the provision of literature and visual aids, clients also have the option of enhancing the service on offer by including resources such as, skin scanner, tanita scales, blood pressure monitor or lung function.

Why Weight?

​​Why Weight? is our weight management programme which encourages group members to adopt healthier habits that will stay with them for life. Suitable for workplaces and community groups, this programme is delivered over a four month time frame. With eight weeks of direct contact and two follow up sessions clients are supported and motivated over a four month period to reach their goals. Maximum programme capacity is 20 participants.
