Support for Schools

Action Cancer is a local charity that relies entirely on the goodwill of the public. This year we are celebrating 40 years and we would urge you to consider fundraising on our behalf.   Any contribution will help us to continue providing lifesaving cancer services, counselling for young people and health promotion work throughout Northern Ireland. Some of the most popular schools fundraising ideas have included:

Organising a No-Uniform Day
Holding a bake sale or breakfast club
Organising a Sponsored Football Tournament
Holding a concert/show
Arranging a silly sock day

So if you are interested in fundraising, get in touch and we can give you practical information on how your school might fundraise.  We can also supply you with materials such as T-shits, banners, balloons and pin badges as well as help promote your activities through local and social media.

Looking for a speaker to support your fundraising efforts? An Action Cancer representative will be happy to arrange a talk about our work and offer hands on support with your event.

If you would like to be put in touch with someone to discuss your school’s needs, arrange a visit or enquire about school fundraising, please contact our Schools Assistant:
