Mouth Cancer Awareness Week runs from 10th - 14th November 2008 and is designed to raise awareness of the symptoms of mouth cancer and encourage people to visit their dentist regularly as this will aid early detection.
Approximately 150 people are diagnosed with oral cancer every year in Northern Ireland and around 50 people die from mouth cancer every year here.
