Bangor RFC sing for BBC's The One Show and Action Cancer

20 December 2017

Action Cancer is Northern Ireland's leading, local cancer charity. The charity provides free breast screening to women aged 40-49 and over 70; health checks to men and women aged 16+; counselling and complementary therapies to children (aged 5+) and adults; and health promotion in schools, communities and workplaces.

These services are delivered regionally throughout Northern Ireland and from the charity’s Big Bus, supported by SuperValu, which visits 235 locations every year.

Steph Ellis, Events Executive said; "Thank you so much to Bangor RFC for once again braving the cold in aid of Action Cancer this festive season. This is the fourth year of the topless carol singing and not including funds collected this year, the club has raised an amazing £5,600 which will support people affected by cancer throughout Northern Ireland. We are delighted to have their ongoing support and look forward to finding out 2017's total in the New Year!"
